Abstract: This study is based on comprehensive genomic and transcriptomic analysis aimed at identifying molecular subtypes and prognostic markers of ovarian clear cell carcinoma (OCCC), with a particular focus on immune-related pathways. The study included samples from 50 Chinese patients who underwent targeted next-generation sequencing and transcriptome sequencing. Through hierarchical clustering related to immune pathways, the researchers divided the samples into two subgroups: the immune subgroup (22.0%) and the non-immune subgroup (78.0%). Patients in the immune subgroup had significantly poorer survival rates. The gene expression characteristics of the immune subgroup showed higher expression of pro-inflammatory and immune checkpoint genes, with enrichment of the PD-1 signaling pathway in this subgroup. The study identified an immune subtype of ovarian clear cell carcinoma (OCCC) that is associated with PD-1 signaling and PI3K-AKT-mTOR signaling transduction, and has a poor prognosis.
